Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) originally isolated from a pineal gland extract called epithalamin. Decades of research led by Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology have studied its role in three foundational longevity pathways: telomere maintenance, melatonin restoration, and biological-rhythm regulation.
Unlike daily supplements that target one symptom of aging at a time, Epithalon works upstream at the cellular-signaling level — supporting telomerase activity, restoring age-related decline in pineal melatonin output, and reinforcing the body’s antioxidant defenses. It is administered as a small subcutaneous injection in short cycles (typically 10–20 days, run 1–2 times per year), not daily indefinitely.
What patients report during a cycle:
- Deeper, more continuous sleep within the first week
- Improved energy and recovery in the second half of the cycle
- Subjective improvements in skin tone, vitality, and overall well-being that persist for weeks to months after the cycle ends
Available strengths:
- 10 mg/mL × 5 mL vial (50 mg total) — standard cycle strength
- 2 mg/mL × 5 mL vial (10 mg total) — lower-dose option for sensitive users or starter cycles
Every Epithalon prescription is reviewed by a licensed physician and dispensed through an FDA-registered, NABP- and LegitScript-accredited compounding pharmacy. Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 30 days of reconstitution.
Epithalon is not FDA-approved as a finished pharmaceutical product. It is prescribed off-label following a clinical evaluation. Not appropriate for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have an active malignancy.
